2020 Houston Marathon Weekend of Events Volunteer Registration Now Open

LTI partners with Houston Marathon Committee as the Official Race Crew Volunteer Sponsor for 2020 Houston Marathon Weekend of Events

Houston (Oct. 1, 2019) – The Houston Marathon Committee (HMC) in partnership with Official Race Crew Volunteer Sponsor LTI (Larsen & Toubro Infotech) announced today that volunteer registration for the 2020 Houston Marathon Weekend of events is now open.

The 2020 Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Houston Half Marathon and We Are Houston 5K presented by Aramco and Chevron will take place Jan. 17-19, 2020. Each year the committee relies on the dedication of more than 7,000 volunteers to host nearly 33,000 participants in the heart of the city of Houston for its signature event.

“The Greater Houston community has embraced this event for 48 years. Each of our volunteers play an essential role in every aspect of race weekend and we look forward to providing another first-class experience for our volunteers, spectators and runners,” said Wade Morehead, Executive Director of the HMC. “It’s through the support of the city, volunteers and Sponsor organizations like LTI that enable us to host one of the most notable marathon and half marathon events in the world.”

For the second year in a row, the HMC is thrilled to have the support of LTI as the Official Race Crew Volunteer Sponsor. LTI enhances its mission to celebrate the spirit of human endeavor and pushing boundaries through a humble contribution towards solving for the society, through the volunteer efforts of the Houston Marathon Weekend of Events.

The 48th running of the Chevron Houston Marathon race weekend, also featuring the Aramco Houston Half Marathon and We Are Houston 5K presented by Aramco and Chevron, will take place January 17-19, 2020. Registration is still open for all three events.
